Traffic and ordinary cleaning slowly break down the finish that made your floors beautiful when they were new. Our hardwood cleaning takes them back toward their original splendor while protecting and preserving the wood.
We use the most effective hardwood cleaning equipment and only high-quality products. We are IICRC certified, and IICRC sets the standard for hardwood cleaning, restoration and inspection.

Between cleanings
- Dust daily, and vacuum or mop weekly.
- Put rugs in high-traffic areas, with backing made for hardwood.
- Avoid soap-based cleaners, wax and steam cleaners. Vinegar and water dulls the finish, and soap and wax leave build-up.

Clifton came over to provide a free estimate. He was extremely polite, professional and gave us a very reasonable quote so we scheduled time for him to come back to clean our carpeted and hardwood floors. The carpet cleaning day came first and Cliff arrived promptly. He was extremely polite and professional again, explaining where he’d start and what he’d be doing. He was very conscious of our cat and made sure the door was protected at all times. He took some smaller antique area rugs with him since they needed to be cleaned gently by hand. He returned two days later with the small rugs (which looked phenomenal) and started working on the wood floors. We’ve had a lot of trouble finding the right cleaning products for the wood and there was a fair amount of film and grime on it. Cliff busted his butt cleaning it very meticulously and after many hours he wasn’t satisfied with the way it came out so he said he’d come back the next day and do it again! We wish we could attach pictures since our floors look brand new. Hemingway Floor Cleaning is the way to go for sure!
