What we clean and restore

One owner-operated company for every floor in the house, and the counters and furniture too. Each service has its own page with photographs, films and the questions people ask.

Cliff Hemingway, owner and operator

Cliff has run Hemingway's since 2006 and has worked in floor cleaning for more than 20 years, starting out alongside his uncle. The business is family-owned and operated, fully licensed and insured, and IICRC certified in carpet cleaning.

His customers talk about the care as much as the result: covers over the door and guards on the corners so the hoses never mark a wall, a call when he is on his way, and photos of the work for owners who live out of state.

Cliff was on time for the quote and cleaning appts. He prepped my house with bumpers on furniture and cloth paths throughout. I did not have to clean up after he left. He cleaned a large area of tile and grout and sealed it with a fresh new color. His color choice was better than mine, it is clear he is very experienced and eager to please. Floors look brand new. He did some rugs also that turned out great. Two before and after pics. Photos still not indicative of the transformation. As a realtor I refer a lot of contractors and few have the work ethic and results as Mr Hemingway.

My marble floors and countertops look new! Prior to having them re-done, they were dull, scratched, and looked worn out. They are 20 years old. Now they look like they were just installed. Cliff arrived on schedule and got started right away. He was very professional and did a fantastic job! I am more than pleased with my carpets! He even put a cover over the front door and guards on corners so that the hoses didn't rub up against them! Much more impressive than those national chains.
